Powerhouse Marketing With Persuasive Postcards

The lowly postcard...it's more than just a "having fun, wish you were here" delivery system. This tiny billboard is actually a powerhouse of a marketing tool with almost unlimited uses. Harness this little dynamo and you'll find a surge of new business opportunities.

Here are some reasons your company should consider a postcard:

1. Cost effective: A regular-sized postcard only costs $.23. You can send up to a 4 1/4" x 6" card without incurring additional expense. This cost is before any bulk-mailing discounts, which can substantially add to savings. They are also inexpensive to print, even if you go to a four-color job. And, since a postcard is a single piece of paper with no envelope, post cards don't incur a folding and stuffing charge: simply print, label, and send 'em.

2. Postcards are versatile: Your business can use a postcard to show a picture of a new product, send a reprint of a recent advertisement, invite people to an upcoming event, or announce a new service offering. You can also use a postcard to direct people to your website.

3. Quick to read: Another benefit to postcards is the speed at which people can read your message. Studies have shown recipients don't open every piece of mail. Since a postcard doesn't take any time or effort to open, most people simply flip the card over to see what it says. Your audience is reading it as soon as it reaches their hands. It's a powerful way to entice people to visit your website. Offer a free e-report or a chance to win something to drive them there. Make your sales pitch online.

4. Make a bold statement: If you don't mind spending a little more on postage, go for the OVERSIZED card. You can create some amazing pieces that are 6" x 11" and mailed out with a first-class stamp. These are surefire way to make a lasting impression and recipients are less likely to simply toss them.

5. Stay in touch: Postcards are an easy and inexpensive way to keep your customers aware of your company and showcase new services or products. You can send out coupons to customers you haven't seen in a while. Offer your recipients an incentive for referring new business. Let them know about new areas or content on your website.

6. Eye-catching handouts: Use extra postcards left over from your mailing as a fancy "business card" at a seminar you offer or a networking event you attend.

7. Feedback forms: You can develop a quick survey. Recipients can check a couple of boxes and fax them back to you. It's likely you'll get a good response if with such an easy-to-complete format.

8. Test your messages: Print several versions of your postcard message and send each to several different mailing groups. Find out which version gets the best response and that's your winner. Use the high-response one in a mailing to a larger group. Watch the responses roll in!

9. Coupons: Use the postcard to entice a visit to your location. When customers come in to your service location, they can bring the postcard offer with them to receive a discount or freebie.

10. Remind your customers: If you are a dentist, a mechanic, or another type of business that provides a routine service, a postcard can be sent as a reminder to your customers that it's time to come in for a check-up.

So, the next time you're thinking about doing a mailing, consider trying postcards to reach your customers. You can generate a BIG response without spending a lot of money!

Internet Marketing is Changing Right Before Your Eyes!

Internet Marketing is Changing Right Before Your Eyes!

 by: Ken Nadreau

There's no doubt about it . . .

Big changes are in the air!

In the midst of all the usual scams and rip offs, there's a New Wave of Marketing techniques that are beginning to immerge that will forever alter what you do, or will take you out of the game.

The choice is yours!

You see, what most marketers have been spending their time on might be called "peer marketing", that is selling to their fellow marketers. Hundreds and hundreds of programs and ebooks have been written designed to draw in affiliates to do the bidding and "leg work" for those producing them.

So now we have tons of "how to's" and just as many affiliate programs that have, over time, gotten real old.

Then, on top of all that, you have thousands of traffic exchanges and paid to read email advertising sites to make us think that we're actually marketing to someone.

But in reality, all we're really doing is perpetuating this "peer marketing" phenomenon that's frankly spinning our wheels and getting us nowhere.

We all know it's not working. We all know that, in spite of all the hype and hoopla, 95% of all online businesses are still failing miserably.

Let's face it, Internet Marketing is in a rut that's got us all running around in circles!

But all is not lost!

Lately, new tools and methods to infuse new life into online marketing have been hitting the scene . . .

Things like Niche Marketing are beginning to draw many away from "peer marketing", and teaching them to spend their time finding out what other people want and connecting them to those products.

What's being discovered, actually, is that the average online marketer, who's been bogged down with trying to sell useless information to their peers, is generally well conditioned to slip right into Niche Marketing.

You see, there are tons of marketable, every day products available on the web, and there are just as many marketers who've learned, due to immense competition,to be extremely convincing.

Putting the two together is creating a remarkable edge over the product producers who, most often, have minimal skills in advertising.

Most of these products, easily accessible through reseller programs, can be marketed alone or in combination with other product via quickly set up websites.

And, because there's no production costs, in either time or money, most advertising campaigns can be generated in a very short period of time.

So you might say, Internet Marketing is finally evolving in a much more constructive direction!

Yes, online sales people from all over the world are now learning how to do what a sales person is supposed to be doing . . .

Finding people who are really looking for what they sell, and selling it to them!

Do you hear someone knocking?

Oh . . . It's Opportunity!

Customer Review: A-Ha is amazing

It's a shame that A-ha is known as "one hit wonder" here in America, but I have to say that they are one of the best bands ever... I went to many music stores to buy their CDs, but none seemed to carry their recent albums. However, thanks to Amazon.com, I was able to buy some of their recent albums. If you want to know what they sound like these days, this album is perfect one for you.

Customer Review: Great band, but songs are all redone

I guess I need to learn how to burn my own greatest hits CD, because I had no idea that hardly any of these songs are the versions from the original albums. In fact, many of the songs on this CD are cut shorter. I guess people don't realize the difference, because everyone seems to give such high ratings. I think that The Living Daylights is a HOT song, but this version, which was in the movie, sucks compared to the version that's on their Stay On These Roads CD. I can't imagine why they couldn't use THAT version in the movie, and why they couldn't put the same version in this CD. When I buy a "greatest hits" CD, I usually get the original recordings, and if they're different versions, it is mentioned on the cover. I don't know if Headlines and Deadlines is the same, but I heard it is.
